Host was extremely responsive and accommodating to my family’s requests. Very nice people. Would stay again. NOTE: House needs a little TLC to bring it back to elite status.

The house was perfectly clean, luminous, pleasant, and easy to share with a few adult children. The neighborhood is full of pretty houses with the fantastic Calle 8 right down the street. If you stay here, step out and walk around. Little Havana is a wonder, lively, friendly, with excellent food and coffee. For those who mentioned the "neighbor's rooster", I had to laugh, the roosters are everywhere, it is the bird of the barrio. You can see hens with little chicks scurrying from parking lot to house, roosters strutting around, statues of roosters on every corner. The water is a doable walk, or if you awaken a little late, and want to see the sunrise on the water, 5-10 minutes away you can find a park with a parking lot behind it at Alice Wainwright Park or Hobie Island Beach. This was not just a place to cook, enjoy, and sleep, it was an experience.
